Cooma's Lambie Street Preschool is a community based, not for profit preschool, that has been providing quality early childhood education to the Monaro region for 60 years.

Our aim is to create an environment that is safe & welcoming for our children and their families.  Our environment is both stimulating and supportive, catering to children's varied interest, abilities and needs.  

With qualified, dedicated and energetic early childhood educators, we encourage exploration, imagination and discovery.

Fees and Hours of operation

Opening hours: 8:30am-4:00pm

Days of operation: Monday to Friday
The preschool operates for 40 weeks per year - during NSW Department of Education school terms.

Daily Fee :  $26.00 per day

(current as at January 2020)

 1 day enrolment = $26.00 per week

2 day enrolment = $52.00 per week

3 day enrolment = $79.50 per week

NOTE: 3rd day of enrolment and casual care days are charged at $27.50 per day.

Fee Reduction/Discount

Please contact the preschool office to determine your eligibility. Fee reductions are currently available for children of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander origin, and for children listed as a dependent on a current Centrelink issued low income Health Care Card.

Discounted Daily Fee :  $15.00 per day

(current as at January 2020)

1 day enrolment = $15.00 per week

2 day enrolment = $30.00 per week

3 day enrolment = $57.50 per week

Please note: fee discounts are only applied to the first two days of enrolment. Discounted fees are not applied to the 3rd day of enrolment or casual care days. These days are charged at the full rate of $27.50.

Additional fees per term/per family:
$15 Maintenance Levy
$15 Multi Levy

the value of play

Play is a valuable and important medium for learning and development.  It provides children with opportunities to observe, explore, experiment, problem solve, discover and play co-operatively.  

Play enables children to express and test out their ideas, learn form others and provides a platform for life long learning.
